We are looking for a driven and experienced Miscellaneous Steel Erector Foreman to join our growing business. Metalcrafters of Wayne County is located at 584 Isaac Smith Road, Goldsboro, N.C. Metalcrafters is a professional miscellaneous metal fabrication company that focuses on heavy duty commercial steel fabrication and installation.

The Miscellaneous Steel Erector Foreman supervises and coordinates the installation of non-structural steel components, such as stairs, handrails, ladders, and platforms. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, managing crews, ensuring quality and safety compliance, coordinating with project managers and other trades, and troubleshooting installation issues. Requires leadership skills, hands-on experience with steel erection, and proficiency in welding, rigging, and using construction tools.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Valid Driver’s License
• OSHA 10 Required OSHA 30 Preferred
• Leadership skills
• Proficient knowledge in the use of
  • Power tools
  • Torches
  • Plasma cutters
  • And other fabrication tools
• Certification in Stick welding and Mig welding or adequate experience in the field
• Experience maneuvering a Reach lift, Scissor Lift, and a Man lift
